Join the International Museum of Women on November 16th for a noontime conversation between Jennifer Siebel Newsom, filmmaker, Miss Representation and First Lady of San Francisco, and Jennifer L. Pozner, Executive Director of Women in Media & News, media critic and author, Reality Bites Back: The Troubling Truth About Guilty Pleasure TV. The focus of their discussion is aimed at shedding light on gender and race in entertainment media. Video clips and a short trailer will reveal the sexism, racism and misrepresentations of women and people of color in reality TV. Please join us for this important conversation on media accountability to gender and race in reality TV.
