What do you picture when you think of women’s economic power and potential? Check out our brand new exhibition, Picturing Power & Potential: A Project of Economica, opening June 15, to see stunning images that depict women around the world exercising their power in the global economy.
Picturing Power & Potential is a joint project from the International Museum of Women and the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery’s Art at City Hall program.Picturing Power & Potential will launch on June 15, 2010 online at IMOW.org and in a physical exhibition at San Francisco City Hall. This juried photography show includes more than 50 images from 20 photographers around the globe, representing countries such as India, Ghana, the United States, the Netherlands, and more.

Intern: Library Science Internship with SJSU for IMOW

The International Museum of Women is looking for a Library Science Graduate student intern in the San Jose, California, area to work on a project with the San Jose State University Special Collections and Archives. The intern will archive and organize the Women’s Heritage Museum’s organizational records (donated by IMOW to SJSU) for a semester - or semesters-long internship. Please spread the word!
